QuMotion™ Protocol for Thighs and Buttocks: How 20 Sessions Smoothed the Look of Cellulite
20 sessions – and the skin on this client's thighs and buttocks looked visibly smoother, more even, and firmer.

The client came in with characteristic signs of cellulite: uneven texture, noticeable dimpling, and a puffy-looking appearance across the thighs and buttocks.
Licensed Esthetician and Cosmetologist Gabriela Garcia developed a comprehensive protocol that combined manual techniques with Zemits QuMotion technologies.
Exfoliation → Massage → DermeVortex™ → QuSculpt™ → Support
MEET GABRIELA GARCIA
This protocol was performed by Gabriela Garcia – a Licensed Esthetician and Cosmetologist and the owner of Gabriela Body Care in Manhattan, New York. Her main focus is body treatments.
Gabriela builds her work with clients on trust and partnership. From the very first visit, she shares that the best results are created together and explains why regular visits matter so much.
“My clients are special to me – and so are the device and the products I work with.”

What the Skin Was Showing
At first glance, the client's main goal was to reduce the appearance of cellulite. But when assessing the skin, it's important to consider several factors that together shape how it looks.

Uneven texture and pronounced dimpling
The texture typical of cellulite is linked to the structure of the subcutaneous tissue and the connective tissue septa. They create uneven tension on the skin, which forms depressions and bumps on the surface – especially noticeable on the thighs and buttocks.

Puffy-looking tissue
Temporary fluid retention can add a sense of volume and make natural contours look less defined. Against this puffiness, surface irregularities appear more pronounced.

Uneven surface texture
Dryness and a buildup of dead skin cells can further emphasize irregularities. Because light reflects unevenly, the skin looks less smooth.
address not only the visible dimpling, but also the overall look and condition of the skin surface. That is why Gabriela combined skin prep, manual massage, and two mechanical steps with different types of action.
Zemits Technologies Used in This Protocol
Zemits QuMotion
a professional mechanical massage system for the face and body.
QuSculpt™ – a roller head that combines micro-compression, micro-vibration, and mechanical pressure to work on uneven-looking texture.
DermeVortex™ Body – a 3D-vibration attachment for an even, finishing treatment of the skin surface.
Protocol Logic: How Each Step Built on the Next
1. Exfoliation – Preparing the Skin Surface
The treatment began with exfoliating the thighs and buttocks using a coffee scrub.
Mechanical exfoliation helps remove excess dead skin cells, leaves the surface smoother to the touch, and prepares it for the massage that follows.
This prep step also supports a more even spread of the massage oil and a more comfortable glide of the attachments in the next steps.
2. Manual Massage with Zemits DazzleSkin
After exfoliation, Gabriela moved on to manual massage using Zemits DazzleSkin Massage Oil.
The goal of this step is to gradually warm the soft tissue, prepare it for more intensive mechanical work, and keep the client comfortable.
Manual massage movements provide gentle mechanical action and help make the tissue more pliable before the roller step.
3. DermeVortex™ Body – Even Vibration Massage
After the manual massage, Gabriela moved on to DermeVortex™ Body.
The attachment uses multi-point contact and distributed 3D vibration to deliver even mechanical action on the soft tissue.
This step adds rhythmic vibration to the prep work, helping make the tissue more pliable for the more intensive massage ahead.
DermeVortex™ Body creates a smooth transition from the prep techniques to deeper mechanical work on areas with uneven texture.
4. QuSculpt™ – Intensive Roller Massage
The final mechanical step of the protocol was performed with the QuSculpt™ roller head.
QuSculpt™ features a special patented textured surface that provides pronounced contact with the tissue. The roller head combines roller rotation, micro-compression, micro-vibration, and localized pressure.
After this preparation, the step allows a shift to more intensive, targeted work on areas with pronounced irregularities and dimpling.
The rhythmic mechanical action helps work on skin texture, supporting a smoother, more uniform look.
5. Support Between Sessions
After the treatment, the client was advised to stay regularly physically active and to follow the agreed visit schedule.
Physical activity helps maintain overall muscle tone, and a consistent treatment schedule makes it possible to track changes throughout the course and adjust further care as needed.
WHY THE COMBINATION OF TECHNOLOGIES MATTERED
What sets this case apart is the sequential use of several techniques, each with its own role.
Exfoliation
prepared the skin surface
Manual massage with DazzleSkin
provided comfortable glide and prepared the soft tissue for more intensive work.
DermeVortex™ Body
complemented the protocol with even vibration treatment of the skin surface.
QuSculpt™
served as the main mechanical massage step, focused on areas with pronounced irregularities.
Gabriela used this combination over 20 sessions, gradually moving from two visits a week to one.
It was this systematic approach that allowed her to work consistently on the appearance of the skin.

The skin looked:
- Smoother – with a more uniform surface texture.
- More even – the characteristic dimpling and lumpiness became less noticeable.
- Less puffy-looking – the overall contour appeared more balanced.
- Firmer – with a more toned appearance.
