Scary Good Results: A Closer Look at Three Zemits Treatment Cases

Scary Good Results: A Closer Look at Three Zemits Treatment Cases

Scary Good Results: Real Cases. Professional Protocols. Zemits Technology. Zemits equipment and a Halloween-themed facial treatment.

Some results make you pause. Zoom in. Compare the details. Then ask the question that matters most to a skincare professional:

“What went into this treatment?”

This Halloween, we’re taking a closer look at three Zemits cases: calmer-looking breakout-prone skin, smoother-looking body texture, and a visibly clearer T-zone.

Behind each result is a technology choice, an understanding of skin physiology, and a purposeful combination of treatment steps.

Let’s look beneath the surface

01. Zemits EvoPlasm:Working at the Skin’s Surface

Age 32 · Three EvoPlasm sessions within a comprehensive skincare program

Breakouts, comedones, and redness across the lower face. Cleansing helps remove buildup, but this skin also needs thoughtful follow-through: surface conditioning, hydration, and support for skin comfort.

In this case, Zemits EvoPlasm added cold atmospheric plasma to the treatment program.

What Happens During Treatment

Cold atmospheric plasma is a partially ionized gas. Its generation produces reactive oxygen and nitrogen species that interact with the skin’s surface.
The antimicrobial potential of cold plasma is associated with these reactive species’ ability to interact with microbial cell components. This explains its relevance to professional care for breakout-prone skin: it adds a surface-focused action alongside cleansing and extractions.
EvoPlasm also helps prepare the skin for the application of cosmetic products, complementing carefully selected formulas within a personalized facial protocol.

EvoPlasm’s Role in This Case

Cleansing and extractions addressed buildup and comedones. Hydrating and soothing steps supported skin comfort.
EvoPlasm provided a distinct surface-focused action and remained a key technology throughout all three visits.
Together, these steps addressed several priorities: clearer-looking pores, surface conditioning, and hydration.
After three sessions within the combined program, redness and individual blemishes were less noticeable, and the skin appeared calmer overall.

02. Zemits QuMotion:How Mechanical Action Supports More Defined Contours

Courtesy of Genesis Galea, Licensed Esthetician

Age 42 · 10 treatments · Areas: legs, buttocks, abdomen, and flanks

Skin laxity and less-defined contours across the thighs and abdomen involve several interconnected factors. Skin elasticity, subcutaneous tissue structure, connective tissue bands, and the distribution of interstitial fluid all influence how these areas look.

QuMotion combines roller rotation, microcompression, and microvibration. Each component contributes a different form of mechanical stimulation.

Compression and Release:
Supporting Fluid Movement

As the roller moves across an area, the tissues undergo alternating compression and release. This rhythmic action encourages the movement of interstitial fluid and supports its natural drainage.

This matters in areas prone to puffiness, where fluid accumulation can contribute to fullness and make natural contours appear less defined. Reducing the appearance of puffiness can help reveal a more defined silhouette.

Rotation and Vibration: Mobilizing Soft Tissue

Roller rotation creates sequential pressure and movement within the soft tissues. The vibration component adds rapid, repeated mechanical impulses.
Together, these actions allow the practitioner to work across areas of uneven texture while adjusting treatment intensity to tissue density and client sensitivity. This is particularly relevant to the thighs and buttocks, where surface contours reflect the interaction between the skin, subcutaneous tissue, and connective tissue structures.

Adjustable speed and pressure allow the treatment emphasis to shift from gentle, drainage-focused massage to more intensive work across denser areas. The abdomen, flanks, and thighs can each receive an approach suited to their characteristics.

QuMotion’s Role in This Case

The program included ten 35-minute treatments performed three times per week. Treatment combined support for natural fluid movement with soft tissue mobilization across the abdomen, flanks, buttocks, and legs.
After the course, the waistline appeared more defined, abdominal and thigh contours looked more refined, and the skin’s surface appeared smoother.

These changes reflect the combined goals of the mechanical treatment: improving the appearance of uneven texture while supporting more defined body contours.

03. Zemits Verstand HD Pro:From Follicular Buildup to a Smoother Surface

Courtesy of Genesis Galea, Licensed Esthetician

Approximately age 24 · Two sessions · Combination-to-oily skin

Blackheads, prominent-looking pores, uneven texture, and excess shine. This case called for attention to both follicular buildup and the condition of the stratum corneum.

Verstand HD Pro served as the primary platform within the advanced protocol. HydroDiamond™ provided preparation, exfoliation, and vacuum-assisted cleansing. DermeBoost™ and oxygen-assisted serum application were incorporated into the subsequent conditioning steps.

HydroDiamond™: Preparing Buildup for Removal

An open comedone contains accumulated sebum and dead skin cells. Exposure to air causes components of this material to oxidize, producing the characteristic dark appearance.
At the same time, excess surface cells contribute to roughness and make pores more noticeable. Effective cleansing therefore begins with preparation.

HydroDiamond™ combines HydroSerum application, diamond exfoliation, and vacuum-assisted cleansing.

An appropriate serum helps soften surface buildup. The diamond tip removes excess dead skin cells, while vacuum action helps lift away loosened material.
In this case, the technology also prepared the skin for manual extractions. The sequence had a specific purpose: reduce surface buildup and clear the congested pores responsible for visible blackheads across the nose.

After Cleansing: Supporting the Stratum Corneum

High sebum production does not prevent dehydration. Oiliness and hydration are different skin characteristics, making the condition of the stratum corneum an important consideration after cleansing.
DermeBoost™ and oxygen-assisted serum application formed part of the protocol’s hydrating phase. The selected formulas complemented exfoliation: supporting water retention in the stratum corneum helps reduce surface roughness and maintain skin softness.

Verstand HD Pro’s Role in This Case

Verstand HD Pro enabled sequential treatment of follicular buildup and uneven surface texture. HydroDiamond™ combined serum preparation, diamond exfoliation, and vacuum-assisted cleansing, while the hydrating steps complemented the treatment of surface roughness.

After two sessions, open comedones and oily shine were less noticeable across the T-zone, and the skin appeared clearer and smoother.
