What was done: a moisturizing cream (Corthe Moisture RX Recharging Cream) + SPF.
Why: to lock in and support the result already achieved and to protect the skin until the next session.
What happens in the skin: a humectant draws in moisture while a light occlusive phase slows its transepidermal water loss, keeping the skin hydrated; SPF protects against UV, which otherwise amplifies tonal unevenness. The result looks stable and well-cared-for.
What was done: a salicylic toner after extractions.
Why: to rebalance the skin immediately after extractions.
What happens in the skin: the salicylic toner restores a comfortable surface pH right after the pores are opened and clears the skin; the freshly cleared pores look tidier, and the surface looks even and balanced.
What was done: after exfoliation, extractions were performed with the clear Hydro Extraction tip of the Zemits DermeLuxx PRO and the Zemits SonoSilk ultrasonic scrubber, with manual extractions where needed.
Why: to clear softened sebum and congestion from the pores after exfoliation.
What happens in the skin: the vacuum of the Hydro Extraction tip together with the ultrasonic oscillations of the SonoSilk loosen and lift softened sebum from the follicular openings; congested pores are cleared, and the T-zone looks cleaner.
What was done: HydroDiamond exfoliation on the Zemits DermeLuxx PRO: the diamond tip lifts surface buildup, paired with the salicylic acid serum Zemits SalicPure Pro.
Why: to remove the shed stratum corneum and even out texture while keeping the glide comfortable.
What happens in the skin: the abrasive diamond surface combined with vacuum evenly removes dead corneocytes and surface buildup, while SalicPure Pro works in parallel: salicylic acid pre-loosens sebum and corneocyte cohesion in the follicular openings, so the tip lifts buildup more easily and evenly.
What was done: Carboxy Therapy as a preparatory step (15–20 min; 10 minutes for new clients).
Why: to prepare the surface before exfoliation while keeping it comfortable.
What happens in the skin: the carboxy step applies a formula to the skin that releases carbon dioxide (CO₂); the contact produces a brief sensory response — mild warmth and a comfortable sensation — and leaves the surface soft and primed, so the actives in the next steps spread more evenly.
What was done: cleansing with a salicylic formula (Corthe Dermal Essential Pure First Aid Cleanser).
Why: to lift surface sebum and prepare the skin for the steps that follow.
What happens in the skin: salicylic acid is a lipophilic BHA: it concentrates in the sebum-rich follicular openings, loosens corneocyte cohesion, and breaks up desquamated keratin, so the surface looks cleaner and less oily.
Step 9. Oxygen-LED Finish
What was done: a final step under the dome of the Zemits OxiVelour PRO, 10–15 min, with the Zemits VivaLumix LED panel inside.
Why: a gentle, contact-free finish that works on both comfort and an even-looking complexion at the same time.
What happens in the skin: the OxyDome creates a localized oxygen-rich cosmetic environment over the skin and supports even distribution of the applied actives, while the VivaLumix adds light-based work through photobiomodulation: red 630 nm and infrared 850 nm for the look of radiance and comfort, blue 415 nm for the look of acne-prone skin. The skin looks fresher, more hydrated, and more even.
What was done: the serum is chosen based on the skin's priority — NeoGenesis Beta-Glucan Serum when barrier support comes first, or KRX Acne Control Meso Booster when the priority is working on tone and blemish-proneness.
Why: to support the barrier and work on tone evenness where there is residual redness.
What happens in the skin: beta-glucan forms a moisture-retaining film at the surface and holds water in the stratum corneum; glutathione is an antioxidant tripeptide associated with a more even tone, and salicylic acid supports a clean surface. Together, the barrier looks supported and the tone looks more even.
What was done: a soothing aloe gel mask (Corthe Soothing Gel Mask) + 10 min of Zemits VivaLumix Blue 415 nm.
Why: to ease the sense of surface stress after the active steps and to work on the look of acne-prone skin.

What was done: high frequency with the glass electrode of the Zemits PureKio PRO as a finishing surface step.
Why: a logical surface step specifically for oily, congestion-prone skin — performed after extractions, once the pores are already cleared.
What happens in the skin: high-frequency current is delivered to a glass electrode filled with an inert gas — the gas ionizes, producing a soft glow, gentle warmth, and a thin ozonated micro-layer at the surface. The goal is a finishing surface step for oily, congestion-prone skin right after extractions: it dries down oily areas and leaves the surface more matte and calm before the barrier serums.
