This procedure subcutaneous layer for a short time heats up to 60 degrees; blood coagulates and small foci of coagulation appear, reaching a depth of 5 mm into the reticular layer of the dermis.

How does SMAS lifting work

HIFU is a professional aesthetic skin tightening method. It is based on high-intensity focused ultrasound, which stimulates the deep structural support layers of the skin without damaging the skin surface. A special cartridge delivers the required amount of ultrasonic waves to the precise depth (SMAS) under the skin, warming the tissue to the optimal temperature for neocollagenesis (> 60 C) producing hotspots. These "hot spots" trigger their own natural process of cell renewal, the formation of new collagen, as a result of which the patient receives a toned skin.
